Vol. I · Est. 2026 · Indie Publishing Partner

Publishing, rebuilt for how indie games actually launch.

Hunu Publishing is a consultancy-first publishing partner, built for the studios publishers stopped serving. We don't hand you a check and disappear. We do the work.

01 · Who we are

A consultancy-first publishing partner.

We understand the craft, not just the business. We do the work alongside you across four disciplines.

Game Development

We understand the craft, not just the business. Our dev leg, Hunu Interactive, ships its own games: systems design, prototyping speed, and engine expertise.

Marketing

Steam, social, and creator strategy, planned and executed, not outsourced and forgotten.

Community

Discord, player relationships, and an authentic developer voice that actually sounds like you.

Business Development

Platform relationships, deal navigation, and contracts most solo studios can't reach alone.

02 · The gaps publishers left behind

Where the real ROI lives.

03 · Find your path

Where's your game right now?

Pick the stage that fits and see exactly how Hunu helps at your level. As your game matures, the relationship levels up with it — a title only ever moves up.

Lvl 1 · Community & Advisory

Let's build the relationship first.

You get the Hunu dev community (Discord, wikis, templates, playtest nights) plus an advisory relationship on our community track. Design and systems feedback, store-page guidance, and intros, all free. The rule is simple: talking about your game is always free; touching your game is contracted.

MODEL: No cost. This is where great teams and Hunu get to know each other.
Lvl 2 · Incubation

Let's get it finished.

Structured incubation: mentorship, milestone reviews, design feedback, and coaching, plus the operational scaffolding early studios lack (entity formation, founders' agreements, back-office). Accountability that turns a promising slice into a shippable game.

MODEL: Incubation support. Terms shared before you commit; you always keep your IP.
Lvl 3 · Finishing Funds & Co-Development

Let's get you over the hump.

Milestone-based finishing funds, QA, production management, and direct development help (art, engineering, design) to close the last gaps. Contract-backed and scoped, with a favorable, developer-first split and recoup of finishing funds.

MODEL: Finishing funds + favorable rev-share. Fair, capped, transparent recoup. You keep your IP.
Lvl 4 · Final Boss · Publishing & Go-to-Market

Let's launch it loud.

The full eight-pillar go-to-market package: store presence and wishlist strategy, game and studio sites, the legal and structuring checklist, social and micro-influencer outreach, a crowdfunding pathway if you haven't tried it, launch operations, the post-launch long tail, and transmedia brokering into film, TV, and merch. You need reach, not dev help. That's our home turf.

MODEL: Publishing split with fair, transparent recoup + transmedia agency upside. You keep your IP.
04 · Our standard

Developer-first, in writing.

We benchmark our terms against the best deals in the market, studios like Hooded Horse and Kepler Interactive, not the average ones.

You keep your IP

Always. Copyright, trademarks, characters, world, and source code stay yours. We license, we don't take.

First Negotiation, never Refusal

Want to make a sequel? You owe us a conversation, not a veto. If we can't agree, you walk, free.

Fair, transparent recoupment

We recoup our investment (capped, transparent, no cross-collateralization) and the split flips in your favor the moment we're made whole.

The transmedia launchpad

We help extend your world into film, TV, webtoons, and merch. Hunu runs its own, the Arc of the Monarch webtoon for Tectonic Tactics, and we broker yours with your veto intact.

05 · Let's talk

Tell us about your game.

Whether you're at concept or gold master, there's a door into Hunu for you. Start with the qualifier, drop us a line, or just come hang out in the community. No hype, no pressure. We're developers too.

Old-fashioned? WeAre@Hunu.Pub works too.
